Music Work

Complicated or simple

Working in a church during Covid-19 made us look at everything we were doing and had us asses how engaging the videos we created were. We made the decision to start creating special worship song sets filmed almost as an acoustic set with one or two people for a simple easy weekly turn around. We also found after a while we had it down to an art so why not get a bit more creative with it. So we did both, simple easy two camera shoots or a full lighting package and production team. Both could be turned around in a mater of a day or two.

On location recording

We got to the point where everything we did was mobil and portable. We recorded all audio and video in one take on location. This one we were chasing the setting sun and got it in one take. Throw in the drone at the end and it was a fun shoot.

Gear Makes a difference

Setting up multiple cameras for these were a pain such as the “waymker” video. It took an hour and a half just to get set up. We invested in a 6K camera and were able to get 5 angles out of one camera. Thats the benefit of working with higher end equipment. The ability to quickly turn these around was due to the investment in 6K Raw video capabilities.

Music Promo

This project was for a friends band releasing a new album. This was done in a few hours and only one revision. I was a little hesitant on the noose part however, but it went with their song and was their creative direction. And I love getting to work with other creatives because it makes me better.

Make it stand out.
